Inspection & Care

A gentle assessment for owners who want to understand and maintain a fine watch. The movement is examined under magnification, the rate measured, and seals, crown, and crystal reviewed. Cleaning and fresh lubrication are included where suitable. A clear written summary and tactful recommendations follow, with no obligation to proceed further.

Restoration & Collector Stewardship

A thorough restoration for vintage and collectible watches. Work may include a complete overhaul, sympathetic case and bracelet refinishing, crystal replacement, and patient sourcing of correct parts. Originality and value guide each decision. Each restoration is documented in detail.

Each watch is secured from the moment of receipt until return. Condition is photographed at intake and again before dispatch.
Correct Lubricants
Movement-specific Swiss lubricants are used throughout. No generic substitutions — each calibre's requirements are followed.
Timed & Verified
All regulated movements are verified on a certified timing machine across six positions before case reassembly.
Water Resistance Checked
Where water resistance is applicable, it is tested with calibrated pressure equipment after every case closure.
Owner Consulted First
No work that changes the character or appearance of a watch is carried out without the owner's specific agreement in advance.
Full Documentation
Every service produces written records. For restoration work, comprehensive documentation accompanies the returned watch.
