Terms & Conditions

Inthira Horology  ·  Effective: 1 May 2025  ·  Last Updated: 12 May 2025

1. Definitions

In these Terms and Conditions, the following terms have the meanings given below:

2. Acceptance of Terms

By submitting a watch to Inthira Horology for service, or by using our website and contact form, you confirm that you have read and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. These Terms apply to all service arrangements, whether communicated by email, telephone, or in person at our workshop.

You confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. You also confirm that you are the rightful owner of any Watch submitted to us, or that you have the express authority of the owner to do so.

3. Service Description

We offer three primary service levels for fine mechanical timepieces:

Services are available to clients visiting our workshop in Pattaya and, by prior arrangement, to clients who ship their watches to us from other locations within Thailand. International shipping is handled by the Client at their own expense and risk.

4. Service Intake and Assessment

Upon receipt of a Watch, we will record its condition and acknowledge receipt by email or telephone. A written Assessment will be prepared before any paid work beyond the initial inspection fee commences. The Assessment will set out our findings and any recommendations.

We will not proceed with Repair, Adjustment, or Restoration work without the Client's written or verbal agreement to the scope and estimated cost. If unexpected findings require additional work mid-service, we will pause and consult the Client before proceeding.

5. Pricing and Payment

Service prices are quoted in Thai Baht (฿). Published prices represent the starting point for each service level. The final cost may vary depending on the complexity of work and parts required, and will be agreed in writing before work begins.

Payment is due upon collection or prior to dispatch of the completed Watch. We accept payment in cash (Thai Baht) and by bank transfer. Payment instructions will be provided on the invoice.

If a Client does not collect or arrange return of a completed Watch within 60 days of completion notice, storage fees may apply.

6. Client Responsibilities

The Client agrees to:

7. Timelines

We provide estimated timelines for each service at the Assessment stage. These are good-faith estimates, not binding commitments. Timelines may be affected by parts sourcing, the complexity of work discovered during service, or factors outside our control. We will communicate any significant changes to the estimated timeline promptly.

8. Care and Handling

We take reasonable care to protect each Watch while in our possession. Watches are stored securely and handled only by qualified workshop staff. We carry appropriate insurance for watches in our care; details are available on request.

We are not responsible for pre-existing damage or faults that were present before the Watch was submitted to us, provided these are documented in the intake record.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on our website — including text, design, and photographic material — is the property of Inthira Horology. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or use our content for commercial purposes without our written consent.

10. Disclaimers

We describe the likely outcomes of our services honestly and based on experience. We do not make assurances about specific rate accuracy achievable in a given movement, as this depends on factors including the age and condition of the calibre. All service outcomes are described in general terms only.

Our website is provided for informational purposes. We aim to keep information current but make no commitment as to its accuracy at all times.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Thai law, our liability in connection with any service is limited to the fee paid for that specific service. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or economic losses arising from delays, service outcomes, or website use.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

12. Termination

Either party may cancel a service engagement before work has commenced, subject to payment of any inspection fee already incurred. Once work is underway, cancellation terms will be discussed in good faith, accounting for work already completed. We reserve the right to decline a service at our discretion.

13. Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of Thailand. In the event of a dispute, the parties will attempt to resolve it informally in the first instance. If informal resolution is not possible within 30 days, the dispute may be referred to the courts of Chonburi Province, Thailand, which shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

14. General

These Terms, together with any written service agreement or quotation, constitute the entire agreement between us in relation to the relevant service. If any provision is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in force. A failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of it.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be available on our website. Continued use of our services after a material change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
